Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This is a draft. It may change after legal review, and we’ll update the date above when it does.

This policy covers the Striives website, striives.com, and its launch list. The Striives app isn’t out yet; its privacy policy will be published here before it launches.

Striives is based in Australia. For anything about your information, email support@striives.com.

The short version

  • The Striives Score quiz works out your score and your cost per visit in your browser. Your answers aren’t stored or sent anywhere.
  • If you join the launch list, we keep your email address to tell you about the Striives launch and the founding price, until you unsubscribe.
  • The website uses the Meta pixel to count page views and sign-ups for our ads. It isn’t used for visitors whose device is set to UK time.

The launch list

What we keep when you join:

  • your email address;
  • that you ticked the box to join, the words it showed, and when;
  • the tags in the link you arrived by, such as which post or ad it was, and the page you joined from;
  • your country, worked out from your device’s time zone;
  • if you answer it, what you pay for: a gym membership, classes or a studio, a pool, nothing yet, or something else.

Why: to send you a link to confirm your email, then emails about the Striives launch and the founding price. The link’s tags show us which posts and ads bring people to the list, and what you pay for helps us understand who the list is for.

How long: until you unsubscribe, or 12 months after Striives launches, whichever comes first.

Unsubscribing: every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email support@striives.com.

Who handles it for us

  • Supabase stores the launch list, in Sydney, Australia.
  • Resend sends our emails, including the confirmation link.
  • Cloudflare hosts the website, and handles visitors’ IP addresses to deliver it and protect it from attacks.
  • Meta receives the Meta pixel’s events (below).

Some of these companies are based outside Australia, in the United States, and may handle information there.

The Meta pixel

The website uses the Meta pixel, from Meta Platforms, so we can measure and improve our ads on Facebook and Instagram. When you visit, it tells Meta that a page was viewed, that someone joined the list, and that an email was confirmed, along with the page’s address and details your browser sends, such as your IP address. It uses cookies to do this. Meta may connect this with a Meta account under its own privacy policy.

It doesn’t receive your email address, your answers to the Striives Score quiz, or your answer about what you pay for. It isn’t loaded at all for visitors whose device is set to UK time. Apart from the Meta pixel, the website sets no cookies.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time. You can also ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@striives.com. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can complain to the privacy regulator where you live: in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, oaic.gov.au.

Changes

We’ll post any changes here and update the date at the top.
